As an OB/GYN for 25 years, Dr. Walker shares her journey as a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and woman of color committed to achieving optimal health and wellness. She helps others succeed in life by providing a vision and steps to help them create their own story of wellness.

Dr. Walker is co-author of the book, “The Game Plan: A Woman’s Guide to Becoming a Doctor and Living a Life in Medicine." In it, she shares insight and personal stories of what a career in medicine is like and what women should consider before entering the field.

Dr. Walker is also a transformational speaker. She translates her office practice of listening to her patients letting them know that their voice matters into clear concise steps to owning and actively participating in their own health outcomes. Her joy comes from hearing patients say they are feeling better after having made healthy lifestyle changes,  becoming more mindful and intentional in their mental, physical and spiritual health journey.

Dr. Walker speaks to women of all ages and adolescents. She has spoken to many audiences and is a speaker with Girlology teaching young girls and adolescents about loving their bodies.

Dr. Walker graduated from Texas A&M University, Georgetown University School of Medicine and trained in OB/GYN at University of Texas – Houston.

Dr. Walker has spent the last 25 years as a woman’s physician listening and encouraging women to make the changes to create the healthiest version of themselves.

She talks about Health Architecture. This philosophy is designed on the fact that there is no one size fits all. We can all tailor the changes we need to make based on our desired outcome and lifestyle - not someone else’s.

Creating the life you desire has to account for all areas of health: Mental health, Physical health, Spiritual health and Financial health.
